I’m fascinated by the complex systems that underpin the normal biological function of cells and organisms. In order to respond to their environment and perform their function, human cells must integrate incoming signals and generate a response, in the context of ensuring homeostasis.

In my research, I love trying to refine broad ideas down to precise questions which can be addressed with a well-designed, reliable experiment. Rather than pushing for novelty, I aim for rigour and thoroughness - nothing brings more joy than a clean, crisp null result.
